Foundations of Biblical Counseling for Women is designed to provide a general introduction to the foundational concepts and distinctive features of biblical counseling for women who desire to faithfully care for others through the wisdom and sufficiency of God’s Word.
In this course, students will learn what biblical counseling is, why it differs from other counseling approaches, and how Scripture is sufficient to address real-life struggles. Through studying the purpose and principles of Biblical counseling, students will gain a deeper understanding of how God’s Word brings lasting transformation and equips them to minister effectively to others.
This course is only open to women.
About your Instructor – Dia Pedro

Dia is a Filipina biblical counselor based in Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom, where she lives with her husband, Darell. She graduated in May 2025 from The Master’s University with a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling and is also certified through the TEA Equip Program and the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
Dia is passionate about equipping women in both the Philippines and the United Kingdom with a deeper understanding of Biblical Counseling. Her desire is to help students grow in wisdom, find hope through God’s Word, and develop a greater love for Scripture as it speaks to real-life struggles.
